haha, this is far from bolt on, as most of you FI guys know there are are a lot of little projects, mods, relocations etc in a build. However, for being a big twin project, and both of us being new to this, im going to say that yea, it definately is going pretty smooth. All of the pipes bolted up, had to make some revisions to cold side to gain some more clearance as you guys know, but everything went on smooth. A few times we had to think a bit as to what we were going to do to get such and such to fit, but in the end and easy place popped out and we got it done relatively easy. The thing with these builds is all the little projects that take up so much time. But we are getting close and very anxious. The kit is a very nice kit, with the ground clearance fixed i'm going to have to say i really am impressed with the design and fitment! The only issue with it that i'm not totally excited about is the placement of the pass side turbo, little in the way of fans and a little high which makes an air filter tough to fit on there. Other than that, i'm going to have to say that this kit is pretty damn nice so far. I am impressed with how well the pipes actually fit with the stock K-member as well, only issue was the O2 bungs there.

Thanks for all the compliments everyone!

Also for all those interested, i called the previous owner of the car today and he told me that the slip was definately not from this car. He said he never ran the car and must have been from the bike he used to run. So i guess thats good news in that my car hasnt been beat on with 125 mph passes already!

i think u might have trouble putting the oil drain in the pan under the timing cover, unless u use smaller then -10 fittings. i tried it last week and gave up, there just wasnt any room, the belts also block puting them on the timing cover unless u dont have a/c.
(i didnt read the entire thread but i think thast where ur trying to put the oil drain)

also if ur gonna use an oil scavenger pump (i think u are) then y not drain it into the top of the valve cover or just take the pan off, i took it off today it only took a couple hours

we're going to drain to the actual timing cover, not pan below it. The timing cover is MUCH easier to remove than the oil pan so it will be much safer in that we will be able to take the timing cover off to drill it and get all shavings out vs drilling oil pan on car. The line after the pump is 3/8 so the fitting should fit just fine in the bottom of the timing cover. Reason we didnt go to valvecover is because doesnt the STS kit go there and people have problems? And i don't have AC anymore so going to the timing cover will be just fine. Keep posted for more pics soon!

Well tonight i got most of the fittings to complete my oil return system. I ordered 2 -10an female to 5/8 barbed fittings from Jake @ EPP, should be here by the weekend, and up at home depot i got a 1/2 female Tee fitting and for the 3 sides i got 2 5/8 barbed and the other side a 3/8 female to connect to the pump. So what your looking at is 5/8 hose off turbos going into a Tee into the pump, after the pump we will just be using a single 3/8 line to the timing cover! Its going to be done soon!

Work is slowing down on the car a bit now that break is over, i'm back to school and Frank back to work, but it should be all finished up here pretty soon. I plan to head over tomorrow to do some more finishing up! Keep posted!

Jon, I would run the car first with no jets and see what happens. A couple guys have burned up turbos running jets. If you are using a scavenge pump I think you may not need the oil restrictors.

If it does need a jet I would recommend a function7 piece from ebay. I bought one and like it pretty well.
