Default Front Mount and IAT sensor

Guys running front mounts. The shop that installed my turbo just left the IAT sensor dangling. Did you guys eliminate it or remount it? If so where did you put it?

thanks

you cant eliminate it.Just find a pipe after the FMIC and drill a hole big enough to squeeze the rubber grommet in and stick the sensor in there.

Consider a position just post throttle body, especially if you're injecting methanol. That way you get the most meaningful measurement of IAT as your motor sees the incoming charge, and you'll also be able to easily track your IATs under methanol... to see how well you're cooling.

We weld in a 3/8's bung into the charge pipe before MAF, and use a grand national AIT (same one as ATI). Its there for a reason.

I have a hole drilled in my charge pipe for one. I would say..."YOU SHOULD HAVE IT!!!" But, that's just my simple opinion.
