Default Exotic Performance Plus Engine Rebuild

Just curious to know if any of you forced induction guys went to EPP for your rebuild. From what I hear and see on the boards they seem like a stand up company, and Bob has always been prompt in answering my questions as stupid as they may be. This is the kinda business I would one day like to do business with even though they may be halfway across the country. But back to the question, I am really just interested in what you guys think of the EPP engine rebuilds listed at $5700? Have anyone of you dealt with them directly or know someone who dealt with them? Basically I want to know if their forged rebuilds will last on a car pushing 600 to the wheels on a non-daily driver that sees occasional drag strip time. Thanks.

Anything from Bob will be stand up. I have yet to hear anything negative about EPP. Cannot say the same about other shops I have dealt with in the past.

Who did you deal with in the past? What were some of the problems? Please pm me if you can't put it in here, thanks.

This $5700.00 engine rebuild, stock crank with Compstar rods and Diamond pistons and Total Seal rings and producing 740rwhp, is living well in a brutal road course environment, where the throttle is help at wide open throttle levels for much longer than most of our engines see.

I agree. If you want to add more hp later, you might consider a forged crank. But I would never hesitate to give EPP my business. They are a great company with a great reputation.

I didn't know how good I had it when I was living in Fort Wayne, Bob is very stand up, and will answer your questions. They did my cam and some other things before I moved down to Forida.

+1 for a good shop
