Hot Side Help?
I want to merge the 2 sides together using a y-pipe type connector. I found one at Burns Stainless, which will convert the 2, 2.5" pipes, into 1, 2.5" pipes.
heres the link: 2 into 1
for $181!!!!
NOW, can someone direct me to a company which has this same setup, sizes, stainless?? I want to beable to buy one, I don't want to make one myself, anybody got any advice?
heres my second question ---from that y-pipe, I'm going to try and make that all one piece to the turbo. So there will be 3 pieces to the hot side. The y-pipe, and a drivers side and passengers side tubing to the y-pipe. I hope that makes sense. My question is, how would I connect the 2 pipes to the y-pipe? Can I just use a slip fit like its designed for? I would think I'd get leaks?
the reason I'm not welding it together is because I think it'd make it a HUGE PITA to take off in one piece if I need to work on something. So how do you guys connect your hot sides? you can't all be welding everything into one piece?
I'm going to ceramic coat everything as well, inside and out.
thanks for helping out the DYI guy!
