Rear is out. Fuel system will be out tomarrow. Then its back to re-assembly. I welded my UMI subframe connectors in before I left the shop. Then I got to thinking, I have a Victor Jr intake and elbow I could go ahead and install or use the LS6 intake setup. Hmmm?

Oh well more progress in the morning.

Well I got the tank mounted and and some other odds and ends done.

On another note, I have listed the mock up kit for sale again. $3400 shipped takes it. I have had some things arrise at the shop that need my attention and I need to free up some cash. The shop comes before the shop car. You guys know how it is. I guess it means I will be doing a full tube header setup with a bigger turbo for the car later down the road once I get the shop setteled and rolling.

Here is your chance to go FI super cheap.

Update: I sold the pictured mock up kit. Just waiting on the check to get here. I bought a PT88 turbo for the car. I am going to build a more race style setup here in the coming week or so. I am going to cut the core support and install a Afco radiator, move the location of the turbo and swap in a tube k-member to fit a 4 inch down pipe.

I got my Spohn 1" rear sway bar, and extreme drive shaft ordered today. I plan to have the car on the dyno with a production kit soon also. I want ot get soem dyno number off the kit before becoming a sponsor here on LS1Tech. Then its onto the PT88 Build up.

Right now only 640rwhp/740rwtq......For some reason the 65lbers were getting close to maxing out so we couldnt tune any further. By the way, I am running a very safe tune.

Update: Made a few orders today. Got some 1 5/8" MS doughnuts, 2 1/2" MS Doughnuts, and 4" MS Doughnuts, 1 5/8" combo bends, 1 5/8" to 2 1/2" MS Formed collectors, LS1 header flanges, and some V band clamp kits. I am gonna take the plunge and build a set of foward facing tube headers for the shop car. Thsi setup is going to be for the PT88 turbo. My more race oriented setup.

I got the PT88 in today. Just for the hell of it I stuck it on the crossover pipes for the kit in the pics. It FIT. I will get some pics up this afternoon.

I got the rear suspension and 9 inch in the car also. I am just waiting on my guy to finish my gear change from 4.30's to 3.25's. The Spohn drive shaft shipped a couple days ago. All that laves is the final assembley before I get some dyno numbers from the TC76MPS turbo. Hopefully soon.

My drive shaft showed up today. I snapped some pics of the Prcision PT88 next to a Turbonetics TC76MPS. I aslo got some pics of the PT88 on the car as promised. Now I need some time off from the plant to get the car put back together.

Turbo's side by side. PT88 on left TC76MPS on right:

For anyone keeping tabs on my project, here is the latest update. I gotta a little work done yesterday. I moddified the radiator support to be able to stand the radiator straight up. It will easily fit a 26"wide x 16" tall x 3" deep radiator. Now I just have to find and buy a radiator. The car is getting close. I cant wait.

Yep a 11 inch Billet SC 3000 stall from Yank. Nice and tight by most standards, and will come alive on the boost.

As far as the turbo being clocked like that, no. The compressor side will be clocked facing down to connecto to the intercooler pipes. I just put the PT88 on therer to see if it would fit on the crossover I make for the TC76MPS, and it did. The PT88 will see its very own setup down the road. I want to see what the TC76MPS is capable off first.

I did at first when they recomended it. I was thinking more like a 3400rpm stall when I called them. However I took thier recomendation. If it proves to be to tight I will send it back for a restall and freshen-up and go from there. I enjoy the build and test aspect of cars so I dont mind swapping parts. Its like the radiator supprt modification. Both turbos fit with the factory radiator but I plan to have several different turbo setups on the car so I made more room.
