Hard to beat a Procharger.

AFAIK, theres only one roots style blower setup for F bodies and I was far from impressed with their numbers.

What he said...The only roots style blower that has been put on an fbody(that ive seen) is the magnacharger and it wasnt very impressive to me. I love the simplicity of the procharger and have no complaints(now that the belt slip is fixed). I'd prefer the Procharger over the Vortech b/c of the placement of the system. The Vortech seems to clutter everything on top of the engine and it wasnt to appealing to me.

I've seen better numbers out of the ProCharger too, it's hard to go wrong.

id agree with that. the aftercooler etc just hides that pretty ls1. you also are kind stuck with horsepower after 550 rwp. with a procharger you can just upgrade the head unit

I like this video showing off the Procharger , when you down shift the boost comes in quick as shown . Notice the short shifts here not to over rpm the unit .

Yes i know it is not going to be cheap but not having to get it tuned as much and working on it will def be a big factor!

That is a good question. Below is a dyno graph from a 2005 GTO that only had Kooks headers and a good exhaust system on it prior to us adding an ATI ProCharger D-1SC, which we used a larger pulley on it so that it would only make 7.5 psi of boost. It makes a lot more power in the mid range that what most positive displacement superchargers produce. Keep in mind that these numbers would be 50 rwhp higher or so, if this car was run on a DynoJet chassis dyno. A new C6 Z06 on my dyno only makes 420 rwhp. Bob

What's the basic difference between the P-1SC and the D-1SC.What will I have to upgrade on a 2000 TA with LS-1 to accomodate each ?
