How much PSI will a fast intake take?

From what ive READ... 18 psi... no 1st hand here though.............

So far, 11 psi is OK on my 78 mm.

All I know is they fail on high boost (20psi).

if you dont have one, dont buy one, by the time your making big boost you wouldve probably switched to a victor jr, or you wouldnt even notice any hurt in performance if you have an LS6

use a thin layer of RTV betweent the shells, that helps.

I have rtv on my seals, and it's held up to 15 psi. And my burst panel worked the time I had a major manifold backfire. They are rated at 60-70lbs or something like that so they won't have nuisance failures.
