Default How much torque on ARP 12pt studs?

I have a built 346 w/ARP 12pt studs. I'm running 317's with GMMLS head gaskets. My compressin is at 8.9 and I'm going to be runnig 13lbs street and 17lbs race. What would be the desired torque for my setup. I recently blew a head gasket at 14lbs. I had the bolts torqued to 75#. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
John

Thanks bro. 75#'s is where I had them torqued before with the ARP lube. I wasn't sure if 75# was enough.

im about ready to do install too now do you just hand tighten the studs into the block like they say to do, then torque them down ?i know people were saying the instructions that they were sending out were wrong or something like that

you just get them to bottom out and then back off just a TICK...like BARELY. Not that critical as long as its not bottomed out

Hand tighten the studs into the block, then put the gaskets and heads on and torque the 10 larger head stud nuts to 75Lbs and the smaller top ones to 25lbs.

Ur head gasket certainly didnt pop cause of the torque u haed ur head bolts at. they only pop when u have a tuning issue or u had a random problem at 1 time. GL man
