He also has a new 454ci TT sbc that he just got done testing to death, over 120 dyno pulls. Makes 2,300 FWHP. Daily driver idles at like 950 rpm. He ordered a batch of GM LSX iron blocks and will be building 2,300 fwhp LSX's. I know someone who's gettin one And yes, it's not cheap. BUT its a whole lot less than other shops for way way way more power. His 16 injector set-up allows pump gas for daily driving to around 1,000 hp and when you run it hard, automatically the other 8 injectors start spraying race gas to 2,300 hp, on-the-fly from a stand alone tank. Talk about the best of both worlds

Yeah, staged injection. Nothing new, but it's not cheap.

$52,000, complete engine, turbos, custom intercooler, all custom fabbing for any car, installation and tuning. Not bad considering other shops can't even dream of making that kind of power "with reliability" but charge double for set-ups with 800-1,000 less hp.

Well, that price is assuming your car is ready: suspension, tranny, rear-end, etc..... Drop the car off and pick it up when its done. He also does the mini tub, tranny and roll cage for a little extra.

^ The SBC can do it of course... I won't be skeptical, but I would be very excited to see them do this with the LSX... I mean, so many other production motors can do this (2JZ, VQ, etc.)... Why can't we?

I take it this won't be on pump gas? *runs away*

If I went for max 93 pump gas numbers, no meth, I'd do a 4.030 x 4.000 LSx; 8:1 compression; simple air to water. I think 700-750rwhp with a good power curve could be had. I'm sure someone could hit 800-900rwhp on the dyno a few times but I doubt that combo would survive a lot of passes at the track... stuff on the edge does not last.

8.0:1 would make for an extremely safe CR for pump gas. You could run a LOT of boost without too much worries, and have plenty of potential to make power.

Im on 8.7:1 and can easily hit 19psi at 7000rpm on pump gas only. ( circa 16psi at 6000rpm )

schwartz sells turn key TT ls7 (takled to him.. he sold 8!! in the last two months, and they put out 1200Hp on 91 octane and come with a warranty! the cost is somthing like 36000. FOB

a board member in Lateral-g "nitrorocket" (he is in this months issue of PHR) built his TT-LS1 for 12000, and he is making 850+ rwhp with a th400 tranny on 91 octane, and drives it daily

I'm 8:1 and a 346ci at the moment, never had time to see what it would run on pump gas but the engine has seen 25 or 26 psi.

Yup, 2,300 fwhp, 454ci TT sbc. He did over 120 dyno runs and filmed the tear down, all internal parts looked like they were never used. He has a video on his site of his 1,500 fwhp 406ci TT he built for Hot Rod mag, it also shows a video of his teardown after 130 dyno pulls and alot of regular use, internal parts look like they were never touched.

He said he'll get the same exact power (2,300) from the 454ci LSX GM iron block with better reliability and longevity.

This is always chilling and he can put this in ANY car:

The iron block by GM has the same 6 bolts per cylinder that his sbc TT engines have, it'll be no harder to get that power from the iron block than it is with his proven sbc TT engines.
