I say go with the items in #47. 9 times out of 10, you'll always wish you had spent the extra $ for the higher quality parts, even if it means you need to wait just a little longer to save up the extra $.

i say you can do it for less

stay stock crank
gm mls gaskets
stock replacement head studs
go with a solid cyl head that is not hogged out so much to keep strength, let the boost make the horsepower
you don't need the fancy intake to make 7-800 so that would have to be cosmetic for you
keep stock rockers

there, i saved you at least 3 grand so a check back to me for 1k is fine

i think if u can get a good deal on that LME setup do that because remember you if you get everything new or already together you can sell the entire motor in your car to make back a couple $1000,thats what i did and was definitely worth it.

6k into turbo... motor would have to be about 6k.... some money into tranny and rear end.... 1k into fuel system AT LEAST

i could make 500 rwhp for 8.5k.... starting with a stock car...finishing with stock pcm...stock fuel regulater... stock heads (unported with good springs and hardware) stock intake... and stock crank =)... paying full retail for everything

Colbalt maf? stock pcm?

if you have a LS6 intake your saving yourself money right there, plenty of guys have taken it to 1000hp, so its not a restriction, the GMPP intake would help with distribution but its not a necessity
