Yes, backpressure is a concern. Just look at the top drag radial guy last year that ran a GT47-88 in NMRA. Jose said he was seeing 35+psi at 18psi of boost and that was with only a 360ci engine and the larger 1.08A/R. Those cars were running 8.3's, slap out on all that turbo would do.

One thing I noticed, was that GT47 doesn't have the V-band outlet. Did Jose get you a custom cover from Garrett?? Well at least you don't have to buy that expensive V-band clamp assembly.
