Stock Top End + Turbo How many people would build a shortblock but throw on a big turbo? It would mainly because of the money situation. But I figured if I went shortblock and rear... with a turbo. It would satisfy me until I can build around it ya know.
But I wonder if 500whp would be doable on pump while keeping the engine safe.

yeah 50 bucks for those heads are a steal. Let me know if you run across some at that price again...Ill buy a few sets for resale, lol.
Chris, I think youll be fine with the stock top end for a little while...Its all about the tune to be safe, so once you get everthing together, setting it up properly will keep everything in harmony and will hold together just fine until you setup your topend. Good luck on your pursuit of quadruple digits.

i actually got them from a friend of mine who bought a 6L truck core motor to make into a 408 or something and he put L92 heads and LS2 intake on it...so when we stripped the block i had a $50 bill in my pocket and said i'de buy 'em for that much and he's like "ok" i think he got the whole core motor for like $300 it was a steel, 60,000 mile pull out
