Default Low Vacum?
I'm only reading about 8psi of vacum? What should my vacum be at? Would low vac be a sign for a boost leak or should I be looking for something else.

Normally on a stock LS1, the vacume is around 14-16". It can change with mods, especially a cam.

Don't remember exactly. I think it was around 14 lbs.

Does the idle fluxuate at all??? If so then it's probably sucking air through the head somewhere... Can you tell if there is any exhaust exiting other than through the headers??? I'd put my money on that if they were fine before...

I guess I just need to tighten down all my exhaust bolts.

Also is there any vacuum lines that are maybe not on all of the way or dry rotted... What you may do ( I know you may not want to do it John but you've gotten oil in the engine bay several times so it shouldn't be any worse) is possibly spray some ether where you suspect where the leak is...It'll make the rpms go up and you'll at least have a general idea of what it is...
