Im going to get the car and see how much it would be to route to DP vs route out of engine bay. So routing back to the DP is the route i should take to get the most turbo noise you say?

Well shes home! Hasnt been home in a while so its nice having the car chill in the driveway! Went down this afternoon and picked it up from W2W. So far Rich threw my 60# injectors in and tuned for those and small stuff. Car ran great, stayed out of boost, etc.

My leaky turbo is weird.... It doesnt leak when i'm driving, only when it sits? When i got home from my hour drive i checked and it was dry? Then after it sits, oil drips down onto it....? Weird.

My WG flanges, screw in IAT sensor will be here Weds so i can route my WGs out of the bay, just going to dump them out for now and if i don't like it, i'll change later. So back to the drawing board for now, but it drive good the way it is for cruising! Now time to wash it again and polish!

Note: Rich took my car out for a quick drive to test the tune for bigger injectors and even gave it a quick wash to get all the salt and **** off it from my nasty drive down! What a guy!

haha yep, was nice being able to drive it, especially on the highway for an hour! I was surprised how good it ran and idled with the big injectors, but i guess Rich knew what he was doing, haha. Car is all clean now and has the interior all clean out, tires glossed, rims cleaned and a layer of zaino drying on it ATM Can't wait until it heads back to W2W

Ok, well now that the car is finally home i obviously washed it up yesterday and Zaino'd it up and cleaned it all up pretty much. So this morning was nice so i decided to go outside and snap a few pics and a few small video clips of it idling and low RPMs with the exhaust out the back vs dual cutouts open.... really changes the turbos noise (can hear them at a lot lower RPMs with cutouts open. First task to tackle with the car is getting the stock crank and alternator pulleys back on, my underdrive set up isnt cutting it with all my newly added accessories and my volts are way down causing me to idle badly once n a while... would also be a problem to tune it so i must get that done. So here are the pics... video at the end. Enjoy!

Just got home

Washed

Back in the garage ready for Zaino!

This morning in the garage after it was all detailed

Ran out of room, more on next post...

haha yea, back in my 1st thread there was a pick of here sniffing the box with my turbos in it, haha. She manages to sneek into a lot of photos. This volt thing is weird. Sometimes when i start the car, it idles with the volts wayy down at 11 ish and then when i put it in D or R, it turns really rough and usually dies. However cruising the volts are 13 ish. Now i just went and started the car and the volts were 13 at idle and it was fine... I dont get it. I'm swapping Pulleys to the stock one so hopefully that fixes that issue.

The turbo is another mystery. After driving it seems to be dry... then it leaks when it sits? Weird, maybe its just the way the drain line is routed to the pump, maybe its a bad seal, mixture of both? I dunno... turbos are weird man, haha.

Thanks Graham!

My parts showed up today! Thanks a lot Turbo Technologies!
Received my new 11 psi BOV spring, the 7 psi one that came in it wasnt cutting it for stock cam vacuum, lol. That was a treat to swap! Spring was twice as big as BOV! Got r done though! Also the air temp sensor looks great and fits right up to the stock plug so no wiring will be involved! Also got the 2 WG flanges so i can route those out of the engine bay. After all this is done i'm going to tackle project leaky turbo! Here are some pics!

Well i've tried everything with the drain and that does not seem to be the problem. I even went down to a smaller restrictor, just clear line back on to watch the drain and it looks good, but still leaksSo this past weekend i decided to go threw the ordeal of pulling both turbos and all the fun stuff attached to reclock them and switch them with each other to see if the problem was the turbo, or the lucky drain side.... Before i even got to finish bolting the leaky turbo up on the good side, it was leaking oil out.... no pressure! So i called up John and he agreed that it is the turbo and is going to get it fixed for me so its all packaged and shipped out now to get fixed. Hopefully this is quick and i can get it back and to W2W soon! Just thought i'd keep you updated.

haha yea, still have a lot of summer left, season just started... im not even out of school yet. I want the car to be done for when i get out of school which is in the cards.... few weeks. I'm glad John is doing the right thing and standing by to help throughout entire build and getting this fixed since most likely its a bad seal, wrong size seal, or maybe even no seal in there. Im just glad its getting fixed!

Bringing back some old memories, that was a long time ago!!! Miss that car!

Shortly after this I got tired of set-up, sold it, and ended up putting a different kit on the car, then sold the car. I believe that old Turbo-Zone twin kit has been ran on about 4+ cars now and even more owners! I purchased it second hand from Turbo-zone many moons ago after the original purchaser backed out of the deal. Since then the kit has switched hands numerous times and has had quite a few tweaks and changes.
