Frank- I have pretty much all the stuff i need to fix ordered so i just need to get the car back to see what/how the WG pipes need to be routes and i'll go to NAPA or something and get some 90* bends in 1.5* or whatever i need.

TTI=great!

Reguarding drain line.... I think i found what i need. The Earl's Pro-Lite 350 line seems to be the ticket. Although its pretty expensive, it is compatible with high vacuum (not necessary here) and hot engine oil. Up to +300*F. I checked the application section and it said for this line with use of engine oil, its best to use the Earl's auto-mate fittings which are barbed and what i already have off of my turbos! So this will save a lot over having to buy all new fittings, and for -10 fittings, thats saving a lot, haha. Heres a link to it and tell me what you think? http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

As for WG plumbing as well, Will any 1.5" piping work? Doesnt need to be mandrel bent or anything does it? Doesnt need to flow well i assume, but maybe i'm wrong. Also, should i just get it away from the turbo or get it entirely out of the engine bay?

the Wastegates should be routed either into the down pipes or they should be atleast routed down towards the ground away from things that might melt. The piping does need to be able to flow well. If they don't flow well, you'll get boost creep...

ok thanks Ryan, what are some differences that occur in dumping them vs routing to DPs?

^ Yeah, I've always wanted to know if there was any difference... Other than the sound, of course.

no real difference, just sound, when it comes on boost and the WG open up, you'll know if they are dumped... I'd rather hear the turbo than the exhaust.

If you dump them, then all you'll hear is exhaust when the WG opens, if it's rerouted back into the DP you'll hear the turbo instead

Here are two good examples... With some Cobras (sorry ):

Routed into DP (more whistle but not as loud... Could still hear exhaust):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jG_PBW-RLV0

Routed into atmosphere (louder spool! but not as "whistling"):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2zlvR1B9mg

Both ways sound good to me, but I prefer routed. ****... Do I even have this correct? I'm a bit dyslexic today...

only issue with that is its more work, fabbing, welding in such a tight little space, AND then i wouldnt be able to take the DPs out the opposite way if they ever needed to come off. What if i routed the 1.5" WG pipes back to where the cutouts are and dump? I dont no, little insight here, haha. Such a simple task, yet driven to confusion somehow, lol.
