The point I see is that you and your buddy have done a lot of great work, in a driveway, on jackstands. Keep it up and don't get frustrated.

thanks man, really appreciate it.

I just called Jose over at FI and he was pretty sure its the seal in the turbo going out. So most likely i'm going to have to take it out and send off for a rebuild..... great!

Bump for some new info.....

Time to guess dyno numbers! Im curious what people think its going to put down. Car is now at the shop getting tuned this afternoon. Not sure when it will be done, thinking Monday or Tues. So a quick overview... small twins, stock 346, .6 bar (8 psi) WG springs +snow meth inj. auto trans on a mustang dyno....

What do you guys estimate, post rwhp/rwtq, or if you think it will break. Lol, have to list all the possibilities i guess.

Figured you guys might like these photos. Of the trip down to drop the car off. Yes we got quite a bit of snow in April! Was an interesting trip, but we made it. Definitely a street car here, haha.

Here we stopped in a random subdivision to check everything on the car before we dropped it off and such. Man it got dirty, haha.

On a side note, if you are using heater hose for your oil drain to the scavenge pump, thats not the ideal hose to use. Heater hose will breakdown when exposed to oil. Just IMO, but next time you're working on it, you should swap to something thats oil compatable.

Yea, was a fun trip. Heater hose is a temp. I know a few guys that run it all the time with no issues, but i am looking to switch to something i don't have to worry about. I'm searching for some good hydraulic hose for it that will work with barbed fittings but am having some problems finding what i should use. It's just a temp until i find the right stuff to use and make sure i have the lines routed how i want them.

Needs a few days to tune it and such. I just got a call and there are a few issues. My turbo decided to start leaking more again. awesome timing! Also with my underdrive pulley still on there, the volts are low and thats not such a good thing. Also he doesnt like how the wastegates just vent and would suggest having them routed out of the way. So hes going to check to see what it would cost for them to check out/inspect and rebuild the turbo, and route the WGs out the back and give me a call back in a little bit. I'm pretty sad right now so wish me the best that everything works out good! After all the hard work, time, etc... still have more issues that slipped past.

It will work out in the long run. You have a killer setup that should make some nice numbers.

You know, for a "kit" you sure are having to do alot of R&D... That definately reflects badly on the maker. The money you save in the short term buying a sub-par kit, seems to not be the smart move in the long term, As you spend more time and money to make it right.

Just something I am seeing here.

I'd change your signature to say, Turbo parts by "Turbo-Zone", Turbo Kit by Superman09...

Yea, there have been some issues but as for price i am still way ahead of the game. I decided to go ahead and pick the car up tomorrow. I just can;t afford to have W2W fix the problems as much as i wish i could. So im going to get the car back here, get the turbo checked out, get a screw in IAT sensor (someone tell me which/where to get?), go back to stock alternator pulley, and plumb some piping off the wastegates (Do i need a flange for that or can i weld the pipe straight off the wastegates? Thanks everyone for your help BTW!

BTW, Rich threw the 60lb injectors in and gave it a baseline tune to run with those and such so far. So that will be less he needs to do once i get the car fixed and back to him.

You'll need flanges for the wastegates.

My wild guess would be 490hp/500tq @ the wheels on 8psi on a mustang dyno. Hang in there, soon you'll be grinning from ear to ear when you step on that boost pedal, i mean gas pedal. Having a lot of patience really helps on a FI builds which, I myself really needs a ton of.
