Oh I found one more here's how high you can tuck it up. My compressor housing is 3/4" from the heat shield. I also put an extra relective heat barrior on the factory heat shield.

Billy at TRT showed me how to tuck that thing up there so it almost disapears on my SS. I can't find the picture, but I know he has some. You can make it disapear on a firebird.

I have a 97 Formula with the STS kit. Does that count? If so, I could take a couple of pics tomorrow. Just say what angle(s) you would like to see.

I would like to see what it looks like from the back...how well it tucks under....also maybe a side view to see how low the pipes hang....are you lowered by any chance?

either have pipes made up, or raise your car, as it will scrape. I have scraped mine and I'm the stock height. hell, even with custom pipes theres still a chance you will scrape. get rid of the lowering kit... lol. cuz ur gonna scrape

O.K., I'll try to get some shots today. You might check out EPP, Bob reported that he raised a lowered car back to stock height because it hung too low. I don't think that a side shot of my LT1 would help you, because my charge pipe goes up the driveshaft tunnel, not along the driver's side like the LS1. But the way the turbo hangs should be the same.

if you drive carefully, you wont scrape. my charge pipe hangs lower than anyone's i've seen, and i never scrape it. i am very careful when i hit bumps and leave driveways though..... oh yea, speed bumps are your enemy!!

they dont hang low at all as long as you do it right. Be alil creative work with the positioning of everything and weld a couple more brackets, i did it with a custom t70 master power rear mount, and the only thing you see from behind the car is mayyyybe the oil return fitting. But the MP t70 is bigger than what the Sts kits use. PS- My car is lowered 1" with hotchkis springs. NO PROBLEMS any where. My long tubes and y pipe(pacesetter) still hit before anything else do. Hope this helps!
