LOL Im in. APS is the real deal and I have no problem giving them the money upfront. I almost bought two other vendors turbo kits and waited for results. Hell I couldnt even get results due to the fact that members didnt even get kits Im willing to be a test dummy As I have a tool box, dyno and a lift. So you can bet Ill be spinning wrenches unitll it is done. Then its time to replace the 2 bar SD to 3 bar and tune away. Of course the injectors are going to need some love

Not a pic of the final production intercooler system yet as APS engineers are still testing a number of different intercooler designs to ensure the most efficient intercooler performance and intercooler packaging. I will post some pics as soon as the final intercooler is signed off from engineering.

Mark, Thanks for those kind words of support and I know that you do appreciate that huge capital investment that's required by the manufacturer to produce a high quality production intercooled twin turbo system. I'm quite positive, that when the F body twin turbo system is released at the end of July 07 that many guys will then see and realize that this APS system offers awesome value for $$$ and that it's a true bolt on system that meets the power and quality expectations of 99% F body enthusiasts.

Finally, We will have stock of F body twin turbo systems in the warehouse and freight to the US is 5 days, door to door.

Any possibility of offering an A2W setup as an option?

Thanks for those words of support and from what I've seen so far I think you guys will be very impressed with the F body system. A quick update for your guys on the APS F body project. APS engineers has been testing a number of different twin turbo designs and intercooler layouts and the project is progressing very quickly now. The twin turbo exhaust manifold design is now 100% complete and the production tooling will commence next week. The hot and cold side tubing design/routing is also finished and production manufacturing and checking jigs are also well advanced. Once the final intercooler design is signed off by engineering (which should be this week) our thermal engineers will start on the intercooler end tank design and tooling patterns so the project is on target for July production, all good.

Instead of having and Air 2 Air intercooler, might there be an Air 2 Water intercooler?

I will be buying one. Going as a Street Strip in the Camaro. 370c.i. will be the engine of choice. Will probably test the outer capabilities of the APS twin on a regular basis.

I'm currently thinking about putting the money down. I'll know for sure in May if this is the route I'll end up going.

Normally I would never be one of the first to buy anything like this because normally there's problems but APS is a well known company with a great customer base so they are one of the VERY few I would be willing to trust out of the gate. Plus the savings on the kit is always a plus. I'll also post up tons of pictures and video's of it right after the install and take it to all the major car shows to show it off. Basicly I'll be a rolling advertisment for them. Oh and of course all the people on my site that'll see it.

Right now it's between their kit and LME's magnacharger kit. Both have their pro's and con's. I just need to make up my mind which way to go.

I hope you're kidding when you say MagnaCharger and TT's in the same sentence as if they are equals. LOL

I'm not saying they are equal they both have their pro's and con's. I'm not going for all out power so I wouldn't use the twin turbo kit to it's full potential but a roots style blower has always done something for me. The instant boast and the whine from it is unbeatable.

Thanks for those kind words and I can say that the APS F body twin turbo system is making excellent progress to date. Our engineers are currently working on the final air to air intercooler end tank design (which is one of the most difficult parts of the twin turbo system from a packaging perspective) and with a little luck the intercooler system design will be completed before the end of this week. Once the final design of the end tanks is completed our engineers will then start on the end tank production tooling which should be completed in approximately 5 to 6 weeks. I will keep you posted on any new F body progess.

Thanks,

Peter

Peter, since you mentioned "end tank design"......

I had a custom front mount intercooler built by a major IC design/build company. When packaging does not preclude it, they prefer an endtank inlet like your C5 endtanks to create turbulance for better IC efficiency. I was worried about pressure drop due to the 90 degree flow change. Their engineer says "no worries". APS uses that type design and the tangent inlet design....what's your opinion between the two? TIA.
