That guy seems pretty cool. At this point I would still rather have the LS1.

I hope they can do it, but I'll believe it when I see it.
Either way, that is a badass looking setup.

Big cubes, the right Turbo's and a ton of $$. Of course you can build a DD high 6 second car. It's not that difficult.I just haven't met someone with that much $$ to do it.You make the car run lower boosts on the street for longivity.

Take the Stang of Manny Bengigus(spell last name) that has run high 6's.I was at the chassis shop when they piled in and went 10 miles to Mcdonalds for lunch.Car sounded and drove perfect for a street car. He's been known to cruise around in it.

Now Quicken, stop screwing around and just build one already

Because in order to run 6's it takes way more than just power. Yes, you need the power to make the number, but chassis setup and tuning is half the equation. Time will tell I guess. Besides, not real track will allow him to make more than one pass. Then he will get kicked out and probably banned from the facility.

That guy wants to run 6's and be a daily driver but he's using a small block chevy 454ci TT from NRE............In my original post I said the first LSX iron blocked 454ci TT from NRE will be a roll race monster.........

Just waiting for his blocks to come in. I found it's pretty damn expensive to stop screwing around, but I have

No he won't be kicked out. NRE builds drag cars like they grow on trees. It will be compliant with all the rules neccassary to run the 1/4 mile. And it should be implied that they are not going to pull out there on street tires and run in the 6's. They will do tire changes and probably adjust the suspension, than run. Look at the car he's driving around the streets with that runs mid 7's, no problem. Now of course the boost is turned down as he says while driving in the video, than they turn it up on the track and change the tires, its been done. Street driving to mid 7's on the track. 6's are NEXT, thats all. You can;'t stop progress.

My friend in Maimi dead hooks his 1300 RWHP (I think thats what he's putting down now) from 50-60 rolls. Still a little roll into the throttle deal, by its matted in a couple seconds. You'll just have to roll into it a little slower, but than its good bye big liter Hyabusas.

Also, a $5000 suspension and mini-tub rear-end helps too.
