Here is what I did to cut cost big time.

I got everything I needed off ebay

A complete kit without controler or res. I have a Eboost2 which has a power output that turn the pump on after a set boost psi. I have mine set at 3psi.

Complete kit setup I paid like $180.00 shipped. Its the same pumps everyone else is using someone just sourced out the meth pumps like all these other companys are doing and built a kit.

Takes 2 bottles to fill my windsheld res. so $8.00 and it should last you a while because your not going to be in boost all the time

$5 for 32 ounces of 65% meth is not a great deal. Just FYI. Pure meth is not that expensive and a 5 gallon drum will last FOREVER.

Run pure meth and see how long any pump lasts Just a "FYI"

For some Pure Meth is hard to find and can not be found at times but at the track or at a fuel supply place. O and spray prue meth on your windsheild and see what happens also.

Not only do I not have wipers, I wash my car enough.....I don't use my wiper spray. I also think ditching your wiper spray (even if you use it) is a small price to pay for a nice meth kit. You can also run a small, separate container for meth, and retain you amazing windshield cleaning system, lol.

Werd. I daily drive my car too. Rain-ex wax for windows works wonders at 40+mph! And some brand new cars don't come with AC.....so I think cars without AC can still be considered street cars

i'm not a specialist but i do spray my methanol on my windsheild when it is dirty.. it gets clean and smells good too!

i also run straight meth in my snow pump, but have only been doing it for a couple years now so it is probably messing something up

here is something to debate.... me personally when i spray meth i PULL gasoline out to retain the a/f that i want.. as opposed to setting the a/f where i want and then letting the meth push the a/f waay fat. how do you feel about that?

i understand, i dont plan on running in any classes that only allow one "intercooler" type deal, thats why im running an intercooler and a meth kit. but like you said weight savings and restrictions then go for it,

I have noticed pure meth leaves streaks on my hood when I use the WW function. They do just wipe right off, though.

Good reason NOT to buy a cheap pump. Alkycontrol's pump was MADE for handling pure methanol. As MM said, he hasn't had issues with pure meth in his Snow pump either.

For the guy who wants to run meth and no IC... it will work GREAT. If you run pure meth (people STOP with this washer fluid ****; if you're gonna do this, why not reap the octane reward?) for your IC, your IATs will be BELOW AMBIENT. NO AIR TO AIR INTERCOOLER CAN DO THIS. Here is a quote from a post I made in another thread that has LOGS that show what I'm saying to be true:

Here is the next log with some meth. The IAT pen is green on this cap. Look at the IATs below ambient... and look at the difference in timing.

That's not the point though. He wants to know how will the meth work with NO INTERCOOLER. That's what I showed him.

Yes the car will run great with methanol injection and NO intercooler, the cooling benefits will keep temps down. I am with Frost, i believe in 100% methanol, VP M1 is the stuf, The Alky control pump can and will handle pure methanol.
