when you start making more power in general, the weak links are going to surface. it also depends on how hard you are ragging on your car.

I ran on my stock trans with a shift kit and stock 10 bolt on my setup and they have lasted but I dont go racing my car every weeek. I do have fun with her when I drive it.
Lol i don't drive my car all that hard, usually only go around 4k rpms for the most part, due to the stock torque converter taking to long to get any further in the rpms, but some how i did manage to break the 10 bolt on street tires . So now i have a S60 so thats one less thing to worry about breaking..

This will be the "cherry on the cake" as far as mods to the current setup. I hope & pray that it puts down the #'s on the dyno, although I am very confident that this mod will noticeably improve throttle response.

I would go with the L92 and option up to the F1A head unit, found here.

This is the theory, I hope it works for me

I had the FAST 90 intake and throttlebody and was told to take it off it would not work and would not gain any more power. I hope I was misled after spending all that cash on the stuff and selling the intake for 1/2 and not even being able to sell the throttlebody. I have the LS6 stuff and a stock thottle body and made 700 rwhp with 12#.

I did the install-retune & picked up 11rwhp & 19rwtq SAE. Although this was with a correction factor from a mere 3* in ambient temp decrease with the baseline #'s having "0" as a correction factor...uncorrected increase was 23rwhp and 25+rwtq which I feel is more comparable given the small decrease in ambient. My SOTP feel & throttle response did however feel MUCH crisper. Lot of $$ spent but I feel that I now have optimal intake setup...that is till something new is made for LS1/6 cathedral port

Now im wonderingabout the L92/L76 combo. Hummmmm. Would i be dub to get the LQ9/LS6 over the L92/L76? Im also on a D1SC build and trying to decide. Would the L92s be too much head for a 370 inch motor?
I'm running l92 motor and heads with a l76 intake with no problems yet....
