Dyno Chart: Is This Belt Slip ?
My car is at 21st CMC now getting some new mods but I noticed something on my dyno chart from 3-13-2007 that I am unsure of what it represents. After about 6400 rpm's you can see the HP dip and the line go squiggly to 6900 rpm's where my rev limiter is set. Is this belt slip? I have a 3.4" 6-rib Reichard pulley on my A&A Vortech SQ S-Trim and I am definetely "overspinning" the impeller by about 4k rpm, could this be the issue shown on the chart? I know it is not good to overspin the impeller, but I felt since it was not a sustained rpm that it most likely would function without issue. I have meth injection so don't think it is heat related. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
how far you lookin to rev? lol. it could have been pulled timing...could have been belt slip.. so tighten it, check again. honestly, you have already peaked out..wtf is the point
also, if the computers pulling timing find out WHY.

If you are overspinning the S trim by 4k there is your answer most likely - both your cam and blower are out of steam up that high. Doesnt look that bad really, that little bump at the end is normal when you let off it.
I would be happy with that dyno if it were me..

Thanks guys for all the good feedback
Prior to the dyno tune I had just installed AFR 8019 springs and YT "Ultra lights" so I think I have those items covered. There is no timing being pulled, so I believe that is covered as well. Belt is tight and no apparant rubber dust either. I am satisfied with the #'s and the expert tuning skills of John Page at 21st CMC. I feel that I have pretty much maximized my setup(pending the results of my FAST 90/90 install). To get more power I would definetely need a larger blower, and sinking more money into my seup before going forged makes no sense at this time. I believe I have surpassed my original expectations and it is "Time to Drive it Like I Stole It"
