That may be the case, but never the less, boost will be the easiest way to increase his power level. I believe the simplest way to acheive the HP goals he has would be to max out his blower. What really could he do that would be easier and cheeper than getting a different pulley combo with a different belt?

if money is an issue, then that would be a band aid for dyno numbers.

to the original poster of this thread, what route have you been taking since the original date of this thread?

well my power hits peak at 5800rpms also... but im at 8:1 CR and have a 224/236 .601/.602 114lsa and i hit 572rwhp... but this is also through a 12bolt wit 4.10s and a th350 with a stall that hits 3400rpms on the footbrake and 5200 on the TB... on the foot brake while wheel hopping it cuts 1.49 60ft's with 3650 race weight and stock shocks all the way around....

dyno numbers are just that... numbers... if it runs good at the track why worry about it...

that looks like a good setup for a stick car... because it will tug the motor down pretty hard after launch... run it!

Are those worm gear clamps I see at the throttle body and intercooler? You really need to be running T-bolt clamps on all pressure side tubing!

And it doesn't even look like your big pipe going into the throttle body is clamped properly (unless you weren't finished when taking the photo)

Yes, some of the pics were taken before the car was finished.

Pretty much haven't done anything with the car - besides putting it for sale. Maybe somebody would like a 700ph car. Honestly, I work on cars for a living so, working on mine every spare moment is getting to be too much. I do all this work and can't even go out on a Saturday night and race it - if it isn't the cops...I'm too damn tired.

I did speak w/ a friend that thought the intake was the problem and suggested the carburetor style with an elbow. He said that he would give it to me to test - that's how sure he is. He thinks I should pick up 100hp.
