Default AEM tru-boost controller?

Anybody used the AEM tru boost? The price is right and I'll be using it on my APS TT C6. What are your experiences?

I don't know about the boost controller, but that is a very nice firebird in your homepage, what are the engine specs on that thing? And what are those bars coming off the k-member for, they look like they protect the bottom if you slam down to hard off the line?

I have a ? about the controller also. Does the guage show manifold vacuum? Or is it just a boost guage. I have a vacuum/boost guage right now and don't want to loss the vacuum feature, but I need an electronic
boost controller.

only boost and it works great very easy to use.

It displays vac. as well. I just installed one of these in an EVO two days ago. I've also installed two or three in other cars. The LEDS that surround the center display only light up under boost, but the digital readout in the center shows boost and vac.

I like the unit personally and have had good luck with it. Its easy to hookup and works well, especially for the price you pay. Matches the wideband they sell perfectly as well.

Thanks you've just confirmed my choise. Thats good to know the unit shows vacuum. What increments does it show them in 1 or .5 or .1? Any body want to buy an autometer boost vac gauge?

sorry for the wrong info. What do you use the vacume readout for? Why would it be helpful to monitor?

I have set them all up in PSI (although you can do bar and most likely other choices). I reads both positive and neg. manifold pressure in psi to a tenth.

Vacuum is a good indicator of how the motors physically doing. steady high vacuum is good! Its also a good indictor of load on the engine and helps with getting good fuel economy.
