Is that a high spot in the cooling system? I thought it was too low to let the air bleed out. (I don't run the PS cooler, BTW)
It's higher then where I have seen it before (tapped water pump housing) and I really don't think it is any lower than the top of the radiator so it should be venting as good as before.
Here are some pics:

Yeah, that will work. I guess any metal section in the upper line would work.

i have one issue. my upper AC line wont quite reach the condenser
do i need to have a custom one made??
or can i solder in a piece to make it longer??

im a plumber so i solder copper pipes all of the time, i would assume soldering aluminum is pretty much the same

any ideas??

Here is an idea, wear pants when you weld. Your skin will thank you by not developing cancer later.

i think i would rather chance getting skin cancer by doing 10minutes of welding in shorts a few times a year, then to get heat stroke in the 101* florida weather

but thanks for caring

finished.

i still plan on cutting out the bottome radiator support, lowering the radiator 2 inches and moving forward 4-5 inches.

at this point i'll need to convert to hood pins, as the latch assembly will be gone. but that will clear more then enough room for the turbo
