I got mine from some guy on here for 100 bucks but it right price since the demand for it is pretty high for us diy rear mount guys. So are you doing a fmic? how much boost you plan on running?

Jeff what you wanna do basically since those things are so hard to find is go on boostlogic's site or turbonetics and buy a "T4 flange". Then you buy a 2.75" 45* pipe. On the bend (just like in the pictures) cut the 45* bend and weld on the flange. Next cut a hole in the bend and get a 38mm wastegate flange from either of those same sites. Either weld the flange directly onto the pipe or get some small 1.5" diameter tubing and weld it to the pipe first.

Basically what I am saying is that the "sts pipe" is simply a 45* bend pipe with the flanges welded on. You can make your own for less than $50. In fact, an exhaust shop would probly only charge a few bucks for simply labor like that. EASILY less than $100 to get it made after labor.

Yes its a T4 flange. Just let me know if your looking for flanges. Ive got two 38mm wastegate flanges. I could ship with that vband clamp if your interested. Dont pay more than $20 for the T4 flange, they arent too pricey

I have a 38mm wastegate (standard that comes in STS kit). A 44 is fine too but usually they cost more. You can find nice quality used TIAL and turbonetics stuff for a fraction of the price on ebay. I also wont promote the cheaper brands but of all the guys that I know running them around here (im talking about the $60 new wastegates on ebay), theyve never had problems. But then again none of us push our cars or run a lot of boost. I wouldn't use it on a car making big power.

You might also want to consider adding a 3 bolt flange to the end of that exhaust pipe and welding on a 3 bolt flange to your stock exhaust where it connects up. $16 shipped from summit. Thats what I did. That way your just 3 bolts away from dropping the turbo. And you can return the car to stock easier as well.

i really dont get why people pay so much for the STS kit, its simple as hell to build. the rear section isnt even madnrel bent ! any mufflershop can do it ( they probably woudlnt want to in fear of the turbo falling off)

as simple as it seems, not everyone has time to price and spec all these little odds and ends togethor or find a shop to bend and weld, ect ect. Sometimes that also involves trial and error, which can hurt the wallet....and head

Plus STS comes with warranty and places like TRT come with great customer service.

why the LS6 pcv? stock valley cover should work good, its just a matter of figuring out how to route the dang stuff.

i believe the ls6 pcv is new and improved over the ls1 setup. you block off all lines on the valve covers. and the valley cover has a breather that lets ZERO oil by. it looks much cleaner, simpler, and efficient over what the ls1 has

Hey, do you need piping for the kit? I have the subframe pipe that goes up the driver's side (the really long pipe). It's for a non-vert car and I need to sell it. You interested?

hello everyone, i thought its about time for an update. well i got all the oil fittings from the block, for the turbo, and for the oil pump, i still gota put a fitting on the oil cap on the engine but thats easy. also have all the flanges for the turbo and wastegate for the exhaust. but i wanna have the exhaust shop make all those pipes at once, and i want them to do my ypipe too. (my gutted cats are LAGGING)

i installed my walbro fuel pump a few days ago, cutting the car was kinda annoying... but not all that hard.. hopefully this weekend i will get the valley cover and fuel injectors put in.

also my wideband came in today. im excited about hooking it up. also no exhaust shop wanted to fab my charge pipe from turbo to throttle body. also they didnt want to use exhuast pipe for it. they said use aluminum. so i asked... can you weld aluminum? of course they say no. hah. so ima cut and put together all my own charge pipe, and find a place that welds aluminum. i have a buncha silicon fittings to help me out too

ok monday morning, the injectors are going on, the cars going to the exhaust shop to get the I pipe made, exhaust pipe made, and the intake pipe made. also all my aluminum piping comes in the mail. so if im lucky i can cut and shape all the alumium charge pipes, and hopefully by tomorrow it could potentially be running... hopefully i dont run into any oiling issues. just one question for now.... the oil inlet flange has a tiny hole drilled, obviously to limit the amount of oil going into the turbo... but it seems too small of a hole, how much do you guys think i should drill it out???

theres a thread with a lot of info on this. Most say start with a .060" hole and work your way up. Ill dig up the thread, itll give you a good idea.

Basically you wanna start with a proper size, then go as big as possible without it causing smoke.
