Default INCON Experts inside.

Well I was having the car dynoed for full boost and only made 12lbs of boost. They checked for leaks but found none. I am not really sure why it isn't making the boost it should. This kit is the stage 3 I believe. I bought it from a guy who bought it from Mike Brown. Anyway the tuner seems to think it is the actuators. He said he has never seen actuators on an INCON kit like mine. I think mine have INCON engraved on them, the car is still in Detroit or I would take pics, but I didn't know they actually made there own actuators?? Anyway my question is can you replace the original INCON actuators with dual ports actuators and have an electronic boost controller or am I stuck with buying the original style ones? Has anyone done this before? If so do you have pics and links on what to buy and where? I am pretty much lost so any help would be appreciated.
Mike

Are you using a boost controller? If not the Incon single port gates are easy to plumb a controller to....make all the boost ya want.

It's your actuators if you have the 4.5psi ones. I have the exact same problem, new 10psi actuators are arriving from Lingenfelter this week. I'm using a boost controller, boost would spike to 15 and drop quite quickly to around 11.5psi. Exhaust pressure is pushing the pucks open.

Joe at stenod plumbed up a manual boost controller when I had it up there last and couldn't make over 13psi except when I went to pick the car up and all of a sudden he took it for a drive and it spiked at 18psi. I will definilty be ordering some new actuators just didn't know if I could use an electronic boost controller or if I was stuck with a manual one. Could you guys send me a link to the actuators you are using? Also could you give me some pics of your setup? The car made 700rwhp and 630rwtq with 12lbs boost and C16 I just wonder what it will do with 16lbs+ boost. THanks for all your help.

He also said the I was making full boost, 12lbs, at 3500 and it made 700rwhp at 5,000rpms and it never fell off all the way to redline. He said that told him it wasn't running out of juice but that my actuators were either 6psi or no good.

Sorry, I don't know the details of your car . . . whatcha got?

Interesting that your HP #'s are higher than TQ and mine is the opposite . . . any speculations why?

These are the ones I got from Lingenfelter, they're not listing any right now but give them a call I know they have some in stock:

You can use an e-boost controller, I'm running the Greddy Profec-B. My setup would look exactly like yours as far as underneath. I've just got a distribution block coming off the manifold where I get my boost reference, and tee that down to the actuators.

I wish I knew why it was lower but this kit hasn't been right since I had it. I really hope to get this fixed soon. It's such a slug down low and I have taken a couple rides in INCON cars before and they hit like nitrous it seemed like. Anyway I have a forged 346 with stage 3 6.0l truck heads from patriot. I am running about 8 to 1 compression ratio do you think that is to low for this kit? I have a set of AFR 205 heads ready to go on plus I am going to buy a new cam soon. I am running the GT2-3 right now. Hey could you give me some pics of your controller?

I'm thinking the 8:1 ratio is definitely gonna make it seem sluggish down low. My motor is setup at 8.75:1 and have no problems down low. Although you stated that you hit full boost @ 3500, what are your hp/tq #'s at that rpm? Shouldn't feel sluggish.

Not sure I will call and ask. The car is still up there and I am 8hrs away. I am just trying to get an idea what I need to fix when I get it back.
