My Magnacharged SS almost done
Well while I was in Iraq, I decided to sell my Magnacharged C6. I loved how the maggie worked with my C6 and well when I heard about the kit that LM Speed was doing I decided that was the way I wanted to go with my project car I have. The car is about 90% done, I was even able to drive it for a bit. No dyno yet, its been tuned on the street though. Either the dyno has been down or other reasons I have not yet been able to get it done just yet. Its coming though. Prolly in the next week or so. My biggest thing is the car sits really low and getting it up and down a trailer is a major PITA. I need a bunch of paperwork still before I can legally drive it, no tags yet or reg, I bought it out of state. Anyway here is some pics of the setup. The car is back with Ed at LM Speed for a few more adjustments for now, but I have looked it over pretty good so can help with any questions you might have I hope loll.

from what i understand Ed has a kit for it for nitrous between the halves. He would have to fill you in on that one. I hear a rumor about a car that is getting this kit with a 250 shot as well.
Those guys can install it pretty quick. As for me I did one on my 2006 C6 in about a day without help. I had alot of things needed on my car to include my bottom end getting rebuilt. SO it was just easier for me to have them do it. The hardest part in all honesty is pinning the crank and routing the hose otherwise its not that much harder then pulling any other intake just a bit heavier lol.

Damon,
Now I know what my ride will sound like thanks. Sounds freakin' awesome, and the install looks so good. It's gonna be a blast to drive and I can't wait to get mine done.
BTW I know all about your cam, I'm putting the same one in mine, Ed called me to get my specs and get the same one. Can hardly tell there's a cam in it.

Very clean install. Maggies are the most underated setup out there. People go other routes because they don't put up stellar hp #s, but for the street they are hard to beat.

They actually cut a piece out and weld another piece in there. Then you put the plastic piece back on. The black plastic is not cut at all, and you keep both windshield wipers, it even fits under my stock hood as well. There are no cuts to the hood to make it fit, on my car but, it does come close to some other cars as they are not all the same and its pretty close. On the Camaro's you may have too, but from what I understand not on the birds. If you have your heart set on not cutting on your car this kit is not for you. It does require a little bit to be cut, but unless you know what to look for you will not know where. And it does not affect the rigidity of the car either from what I can tell. You have to see it in person to be honest because the pictures make it look much worse then it really is. If you look at my video i get close to it for a second where it was cut and I bet you cannot see where either. The blower fits by lowering the k memeber alittle bit. This makes it clear the cowl with little cutting.

No, I still have cruise. But here is the catch on that one. I bought the car sight unseen off of here before I sent it to LM SPeed to get the work done. I never tried to use the cruise, and they told me it was not working on my car. But it is all hooked up, I just gotta figure out why its not working. It was a previous problem nothing to do with the kit.
