Anyone running e85 yet?
Anyone running e85 yet? This is big thing on some of my dsm boards. I cant' run it here yet as we don't have any stations for another few years but it is coming.
You need 30% think bigger injectors and possibly bigger fuel pump lines and rail and software to adjust things but guys are running race gas boost levels with stupid high timing and very lean afrs and getting amazing power on the street from e85.Some guys are running 50/50 e85 and some 30% e85.Still very good results. Water and alc injection work well to but this even less hassle I think.Just fill the tank and away you go.Fuel mileage will be worse some say up to 30% but thnk if you lean it out to like 13 to one that shoudl improve a lot. And its cheaper than premium supposedly?

I would LOVE to run it, but the closest place to me that sells it is 60 miles away 
. When I was over there last week, reg gas (87 oct) was 2.86 a gal and E85 was 2.26 a gal.

Good to see 2 are using it. I'm no tree hugger but I think the USA needs to start using this alternative fuel to save our world but more importantly **** up the terrorist's economy. So far NJ has 0 stations
anyone have any updated list of e85 stations across the country??? the last time i checked it said there was 3 or 4 in my area but two of those stations have closed down since then and the other one is about 45 miles away.
