My whole system is vented to atmosphere. I put a big filter where my fillcap is and a small filter beside it on the valve cover.Seem's to be working fine.

Do you think we should vent like you before using restrictors on oil feed line? Do you think my factory PCV is the problem maybe? Thanks

I am not sure how your setup is.What work's for me might not work for you.But i know if you are building to much crankcase pressure by not having enough ventilation, then you can suck oil past your ring's and cause a smoke storm. If so that might make it seem like the turbo seal's are bad.I accidently plugged off my valvecover port's and it sucked oil into the turbo and it smoked real bad until i finally got it blowed out by driving down the road.

I did thanks DrTurbo. We are gonna vent both sides and use an oil line restrictor no smaller than .050 and then as a last resort send in the TC76 for repair.

I will update this post and my Hi-Flo post when we get the turbo back. By any chance were you the one I spoke with on the phone the night before Jose called Turbonetics?

We ended up trying a .080 restrictor and then a .050 and the smoking did not get any better. It smokes like a James bond smoke screen car and seems to be getting worse. Turbo is not off car and was hand delivered to turbonetics. Hopefully they will get it back to us quick.

Thanks Jose! I will do that if there is one for sure. Car will be completely finished after we fix this oiling issue. I'm ready to pick her up from the shop as soon as they get the turbo back. The cool thing about it Rob Barth the shop owner that has my car knows Brian and a lot of the guys over @ turbonetics. Hopefully there are no holdups.
