Something is not right. You must have a intercooler that is to small or something.I'd run it n/a until you got that figured out.it might run better?

i'm running between 20 and 22 #'s of boost and it's a spearco intercooler that was supposedly good for 1000hp. the only air i had going to it was from the fog lights, so i built a duct above the i/c and a scoop below it to see if it just wasn't getting enough air. helped a little, but still above 200*. here's what it looks like.

That is a nice size air to air intercooler. I think your biggest issue is air flow to the intercooler. Don't expect a air to air i/c to work properly with no air flow to cool the core. We had issues with a corvette with a different front end and we used three small compressor cooling fans with shrouding and the air temps dropped over 100 degrees

I showed Jose this post yesterday after you posted your boost pressures. First thing he said was "the cooler is fine, the turbo is done". He said a 76GTS at 21psi on a 383 is at the choke limit already. That is part of the reason why the IAT's are so high. After he ran the numbers on his spreadsheet, that turbo should be outputting close to 350-400 deg's at the discharge. ....that's a lot of heat for even a big cooler to bring down.

i don't doubt that at all, but it's what i've got for now so it'll have to work. i'm just hoping the A2W will bring my temps down to reasonable levels. don't have any room to just throw a larger turbo in it's place and don't have the time or money at the moment to rebuild the entire kit. if you don't mind, would you ask jose if an A2W w/ the new Griffen core would help?
