well he's been driving the car with a partial tune for about 400miles and everything seems to be holding up good so far.. no smoke, oil, or vibrations.. we will see how long they last

EDIT: im also gonna bring some parts of my turbo kit (same company as the vette kit) to get some opinions.. so if ya wanna see them they'll be there too

pretty good numbers considering the mods and the boost. Curious what she will put down with hi-flo cats and 3 lbs more boost which should be 75 more rwhp in itself.

Hey presto,

It was good seeing you today and the manifolds you had today looked nice. I would still suggest some kind of bracket to help support the turbo for sure to aid against stress and cracking.

The TT Vette did decent considering the boost level. It would hit 5psi and then drop to 4psi. I fattened her up a bit to handle the 7psi springs and i guess we will see what comes after that. Still a fun car to drive and Chris had a nice smile after the road test

Talk to you guys soon and thanks for coming out.

What kind of heads are you going with presto Z?

well he has over 1,000 miles on the kit and everything seems good.. his only problems so far is a burnt plug wire (to close to the header) and there is a very small amount of oil in the intake tube which is a fairly common problem on any turbo/supercharged system..

he's going to install an oil restrictor and a catch can and hopefully that will alleviate the problem

ya on 5lbs it put down 400/440 with only a catback

he also had the fuel increased 5% since he was switching to the 7lb springs and hiflow cats.. so hopefully next dyno will be 440/4??

that good news mate. glad its holding together for him.

tell him to get a forged block and turn the boost up some! then you can prove just how good, or bad, those chinese turbos really are!

yes glad everything worked out also! Let us all know how she does on 7 lbs with the high flow cats. Should be about 470 rwhp.

Thanks for all the support. The kit works great. The car ran alot stronger with the 7lb springs and added fuel settings. Thanks to Mike Norris for a GREAT job on the dyno at Aftermath, Ft. Myers. Wish I could have made your grand opening. Work got in the way. Rear tires are down a little but that's what happens when you hit the fun pedal. Got to dust a Suzuki Katana and I think he was a LITTLE suprised. I did wind up wrapping the headers combined with the ceramic coating done by FX in Oviedo, FL. It has ran over 3,000 trouble free daily driven miles. The kit has proven to work fine so enough said. I'm happy with the results and don't care how much bashing is done just because the turbo units don't have a company's name stamped all over them. The turbos were balanced and are tighter than dick's hatband. All in all, a lot of bang for the buck. What matters the most is that it works and works well. I set up a photo bucket page for those interested in seeing the stages and final product. Again, thanks for all the support and advice.

Here's the link.
