PVC Catch can system.... Final conclusive answer
1/4? 3/8? or bigger? Im considering running the outlet of my catch can to the turbo.
2002ws-6 do you have a breather on that summit can? and which direction does that bottom check valve flow? is it really needed?

Im still trying to figure out how to run my catch can. I currently have an IN and OUT with a paper fuel filter inbetween. What kind of filter works best for catch cans? Also, do I really need that 2nd check valve?

Or leave as is but put the catch can on the intake line because oil is getting in. And disconnect the line going to the turbo inlet.
The car is idling pretty good and doesnt seem to be having issues. Would it be better to just run a breather on the catch can?
2002ws-6 do you have any pics of your catch can?

(inside for filtering the oil is what I meant)
mondi2002 can you elaborate a little more about your recommendation?

If you pull vacuum on all ports its like sucking on both ends of a straw.

Is this what your referring to:

I use that port to control my bypass valve on my procharger.

Very simple looking setup. Inspector12(Jeff), is this how yours is setup ?
Works good , But I now have a whistling sound coming from the front port on the right valve cover that is venting to the atmosphere .
If I plug it the whistle stops , Would it be OK to plug it??

So, Is a check valve still needed before the catch can with the above setup?
I think im going to run a 3/8" line from the pass front port to a filter using a barb fitting.
In a related matter, is anyone using the Krank Vent system? It basically provides a check valve to keep from pressurizing the crankcase under booost, as well as venting to atmosphere WHEN under boost, but never allowing air to be drawn IN. They claim that the valves react quickly enough to actually allow brief pulses of positive pressure to be vented, and end up drawing a bit of a vacuum.

You should not have a whiste. Are you blowing allot of oil out of it?
I would pop the oil cap when its running, rev it a little and see if it is blowing allot. If so you have other problems.
