Default Twin Turbo Recommendations

I am building an LS6 engine, with forged internals, etc. Should produce around 500hp at the flywheel. Whats the best twin turbo charge for this engine, and where is the best place to buy it? Looking to get 750hp+ at the rear wheels.

Have you purchased the GTM yet?

Your going to have to get a custom kit made in order for it to fit in a FFR GTM. You'll probablly have to end up doing mods to the frame to get everything in there. Not much room for an intercooler. I think there is a single turbo GTM out there an I think it was a custom job.

Can you get the G50 tranny built staut enough to handle over 600rwhp?

Transmission may or may not handle the power. If it doesn't I'll either have to get it rebuilt, or get a custom tranmission built. I should have the gtm with in the next month, so I wanted to figure out what I would need to do to get a turbo on it. Figured it would have to be somewhat customized. I am hoping I can get turbos put on it in lieu of a supercharger, which would probably be an easier install.

I think a TT F5 would be awesome. You'll definitely need a custom kit.

Where abouts are you located?

You should talk to Jeff Schwartz at Schwartz Extreme Performance in Illinois. He has done a few twin turbo Ultima's and some of his stuff would probably fit your GTM depending upon frame clearances. But they use the Porsche transaxle's too so the set-up would probably work for you or be pretty close.

I am in phoenix, az. I'll have to give jeff a call and see what he can do for me. I need to make the decision now if i can fit a turbo in there, so i can build the engine for boost
