Default 6.0 truck headers

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku

will these headers work under a turbo situation? I'm planning on using the truck manifold setup with a single turbo for my 68 camaro. I'm just wondering if they will support more hp than the original manifolds?

well I would think the stock 6.0L manifolds would support more due to them being cast, but I could be wrong

The truck manifolds will not fit with a stock subframe unless you run them upwards and have all the piping close to the hood, which in my opinion is not good. Front mount or rear mount?

I think stock cast iron 6.0 headers are OK for boost

Let's see $550 for the Summit headers, vice $100 or less for a set of used 6.0 truck headers. Hard decision

those headers will have to be moddified on the driver side due to the #3 runner hitting the steering shaft.

Why would the Escalade front end be any different than a truck?

I think some people are missing the fact that this is for a 1968 Camaro.

Stock 6.0 manifolds will support twice of what you are asking....Ohio boys are running them on their 101mm single.. Car has went 183.7 mph @ 3375lbs.. They are probably at 1400-1500 hp right now...There is more left though..Does that answer your question?

Hunter02SS has a twin turbo set up with the 6.0 truck manifolds he just put down,
922rwhp and 842rwtq at 18psi!!

Don't think these things won't flow, the ohio boys proved that they support more power then most of us will ever need a LONG time ago.
