It shouldn't be your IAT's. I had no intercooler and no meth and I didn't pull timing at 5 psi during runs with IAT's in the 150 range in 90+ degree weather. I did have a really good tune though (thanks NicD). It was actually set up to pull timing pretty briskly after a certain point. You definitely need to check with your tuner and scan to see what's up. I'm not an auto so I don't have any of those issues, but you need a stall...

Okay, so you are twin 60's, stock longblock + 918's, stock converter, making 5-6 psi right now? Do I have this right?

So stock HP is 350 crank, add 1/3 more and you make 480 hp at the crank? Is that what you dynoed?

Your track numbers make sense for a mid 12 second pass, so either you don't make a lot of power, or you have some sort of problem.

My first time out we figured out I had springs/rockers issues, next time I went 9.8@141 but that was low for my power numbers... So hopefully next time out I can try out this different converter and start off at 15psi and get some decent numbers going.

I made 420/413 to the tire on a mustang dyno. The only thing is that my ET, mph, and 60 dont seem to match. For my 60's and mph, i think my ETs should be higher than they are, or for my 60 and ET, my mph's seem low. I'm going to call up Rich on Monday and see what we can come up with. Maybe i'll toss this converter in since its just sitting here....

And yep PSJ, that is exactly correct, plus meth too, on a DR.

A poor 60' will generally make your mph higher and you et higher (slower). That trap speed is indicitive of a car making ~350 hp to the tires.

Yea, i have narrowed it down that something isnt right, any ideas as to what it might be? Pulling timing? Slipping trans?

My first thought was that u have leaks and aren't seeing barely any power from the turbos. If you are like 400-450rwhp, you should run high 11's, low 12's, at like 115 - 120 mph.

My second though is slipping trans. The trans should sounds like it's slipping though, I think that would be obvious with a stock converter.

I'd say to bring it on down and have us tune it for you. I'm sure we can figure out what the problem is. Bob

I would Bob but i'm already in at W2W, they are keeping good care of me and Rich will always make time to fit me in and tune the car more.

As for not making boost, my boost guage shows i am and its refrenced after the intake so its making boost and getting there.

Do you have a laptop? I've got an autotap cable you can borrow. I'm at 12/dequindre, just a couple miles from W2W.

Log some data and take away the guesswork.

i dont have a laptop or anything, but last Monday i went down and Rich hooked up his laptop and we went cruising around and said there was no knock or anything. I'm going to give him a call and see what we can come up with. Maybe i can convince him to go to Test n Tune with me.

I bet your car weighs a ton and a 1/2 I'd figure you added 200lbs atleast to the car. That would kill mph alot.

Also, you heat the turbo's in the burnout box. That will help 60's.

Then of course, your tranny could be slipping 3rd.
