Help! Setting up fuel system I'm trying to fix the nasty fuel pressure drop problem with my Procharger setup. Around 5800rpm it drops to 25psi. All I've done so far is the 42# injectors. I'm getting ready to install the Aeromotive inline fuel pump. Anyone have pics of the install? I'm not sure where to mount it or what fittings I'm going to need. I haven't had the chance to really look at it yet. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I'm not entirely sure this is gonna fix the problem though since it can only flow as much fuel as the stock pump can push. Will I need an adjustable reg.? I've got the rear out of the car for a Moser install so this would be the time to do it. I'm not entirely sure which kit to get for the LS1 and exactly how to mount it. Again, any help would be awsome. I just wanna get this bucket done and get some passes before it gets too damn hot! Thanks.

Setting up fuel system for the fp to drop that much i expect its a bad stock regulator rather than not enough pump. but either way you need yourself a good in tank rather than the inline.. like the 255lph walbro gss340 .. i have a charged air external regulator (took the stock one out of the tank) but any good external regulator should work.

Setting up fuel system If you look at the fuel system on www.ls1speed.com their shop car, that is what im running but Im running a -10 feed and a -8 return, i have the CAS sump tank, filters, aromotive inline, aromotive regulator, and billit fuel rails, Might be over kill for you but it is safe and works great!!! also It should take me to 800-900 rwhp!!!!

make sure you drill big enough holes in the sides of the " bucket" or the fule pump module, cause as it stis now you only get fule in the bucket from the little hole in the bottom of the pump housing.

Re: Help! Setting up fuel system Damn I just talked to Thunder and they said the Walbro won't work on the 2000+ cars with the plastic tank. They said noone makes an intank pump yet that will work on the newer cars. Any truth to this?

Re: Help! Setting up fuel system You have to do some minor trimming and mods to the fuel sendor unit on the 1999+ cars. It will work fine. Do a search you will find step by step instructions. No one makes one specifically for our cars, just means you do about twenty minutes worth of work instead.
