Congrats Ohio Boys 8.06 @ 182 Congrats to Steve Turley on the win at Milan on Friday.
Here what it said on Milans web page
""VP Racing Drag Radial record was destroyed last night by Pande doing the driving of Billy Musconi's Mustang. Pande went 7.5's over a 190 mph! The previous record was 7.7's. Jason Lee had the number one spot during qualifying 7.77 @182. In the finals Pande was racing Steve Turley the number two qualifier, Pande had to lift due the car wanting to do a wheelie giving the win light to Turley. Turley was .004 on the tree and made his best pass to date 8.06 @ 182 ""

Yes that is the car. They were consistent all night and so was Pande until the final round. He went back to back to back 7.5x's at over 190 flat out insane on radials and stock suspension. Ohio Boys tearing it up too over 180 on most passes I believe and leaving soft.
We were sitting next to a bunch of the Ohio Boys 'crew' and they were pumped when they took the W over the red stang. Congrats to those guys for sure!

Yep Pande's is 3rd fastest drag radial car in the country in the 1/4. Others have been as fast in the 1/8th like Reese (recently crashed at Phenix City) and a few others.

That would make pande either 4th or 5th. Wolfe has gone 7.40, Big Daddy and Mike Keenan have also both run mid 7.40's. I think The Corvette has been either a high 7.40 or bottom 7.50. But, Pande finally got that car running. It was Job Spetter Jr's Championship Winning NMRA SSO car from years ago. First stock suspension car in the 7's on 28x10.5nonW tire. He still runs our suspension on that car.

I've seen a few posts here and there about the red Camaro, I had heard it was running easy 8.2's early in the summer. I think the white TA has been running, but they might have tried some experimental stuff that was problematic.

The white TA that is blue now is having some trouble, but Mike says it will be running again soon. The trans/converter has had some strange problems that they are getting over. The red car (Steve's), probably has 50 passes on it by now. They race every chance they get.
