Default which cam to go with???

I have a 99 SS with a Vortech V-9 and will be between 10-11psi and am about to put a 02 ZO6 Cam in. I am just about to get an LS6 manifold and LT headers on too. Is there a cam out there that will give me sugnificantly more power then the Zo6 cam will, with the supercharger?? I bought the ZO6 cam for 75 bucks and dont want to spend 400 bucks unless it gives me a decent amount of more then the zo6. thanks guys

With a stock displacement motor and a Vortech V9, the ZO6 cam will be good.

That cam idles like stock, so if you want more power you would need to put up with a lopey camshaft.

Thanks guys, I dont mind if the cam gets lopey, I would actually preffer it. I like the way it sounds much better, but I have been reading some of these threads and talked to a couple people and I know that if I get a bigger cam I can lose boost, which I dont want to do. Who would make the best cam for me and what specs would it be??

Larger cams can bleed off boost, thus costing you some power, but if you get a properly speced blower cam, like the G5XB by LG motorsports or the Lingenfelter GT2-3, then you will have a good blower cam that will net you more power than the ls6.

Im leaning toward the G5XB from LG but I dont to spend 1400 bucks on the kit. Does anyone know what the specs are on it so that I can pick up the springs and everything else on here. I called and talked to a guy and he said that they couldnt tell me anything about the cam but he could sell me the whole kit with everything need for the install. He did say that the cam would give about 60hp at 6psi.

Andy over at A&A corvette had some great results with the LS7 cam. Its a pretty cost effictive option.
