Nice grad present....I hope to have another car in my stable for my graduation. I will give you all a hint. It is a snake, but it is not a Ford. I was going to get a D-1sc but after lots of thinking and deliberation I chose to go the Twin turbo route.

Congrats. 8PSI should crack almost a full second off your E.T. You should be in the high 11's now.
Now go burn some fried rice.

Mike I would have probebly gone the turbo route if I hadnt bought headers 3 months ago It would of been a waste of money sence you have to replace them with the turbo manifolds plus its kinda expensive compared to a s/c.
O and im guessing you are refering to a viper well you or your parents are going all out on that one thats a hard hit in the wallet
well good luck on getting your new car

Lucky Bastard
Anyway... I don't want to see you wreck that bad boy.
Take it slow at first. Get plenty used to it.
Oh, and another rule I have made for myself:
NEVER, EVER stay in the throttle if you know you've lost control. Chances are you won't regain it. Too many people, from pride or what, end up in the ditch or wrapped around a telephone pole because they don't want their friends to see them back out of it.
It is WAYYYYyyyyy smarter to keep your car intact. Pride can mend for another day!
Enjoy that car! And, as long as you can keep your head on straight (I was a HS grad millenia ago myself ), tell your parents they must be the coolest in the world.

Agree with NGK TR6's... it's a colder plug.
Autolite 103's work as well.
Most gap it anywhere from .31 to .39, depending on how confident the spark won't be blown out.

You've got to be kidding me. Your stable? Parents have just lost it these days. I've seen so many soft kids out there..next thing you know, we're going to be rewarding them for learning how to properly wipe their asses or for successfully waking up before noon on a regular basis. I've busted my *** to make the coin I make, and I don't think I could have gotten this far if I took the time to reward myself for every little piddly accomplishment along the way..a man's got to learn what true sacrifice and accomplishment is to be successful. When do you allow him to learn it?
This is why we have so many 25 year old babies out there.
