Default Gen-TT on a cam only car??

A buddy of mine bought a new Gen-TT twin turbo kit for his T/A, but come to find out we cant get it to fit with his turbo 400 tranny. I was wondering if anyone knew how this kit would be on a cam only car. The cam I am running is a 224/232 .567/.574 with a 114+2 LSA. If I got the kit, I would run somewhere around 7 pounds of boost with it. I know that the turbo's in this kit are somewhat overkill for a stock engine, but I was wondering what everyones opinion on the subject was. Input is appreciated. Thanks.

Zach

Tell your buddy how much of a "favor" you are doing him by giving him "part" of his wasted money back on the kit. It's worth a try.

Well see how it works out. I would really like to try it too. I was really looking more for some technical informaton on it, as far as how fast the turbos would spool on a stock car.

We tried to bolt the kit up with the turbo 400 in there and it needs about an inch and a half to even clear the bellhousing of the tranny. I dont have any pics because the car is now getting a custom twin setup and the Gen-TT kit has been packed back up.

He has it packed back up because he is going to sell the kit and have a custom kit made, and I was wanting to buy the kit from him. Guess that you will have to see when your TH400 gets there if it fits or not, sure hope it does for you, but not looking that way for him.

The Gen-TT kit will fit with a TH400 if you cut the 'ears' of the bellhousing or move to an aftermarket style bellhousing
