Compression Experts-What's comp with stock LS6 heads and -2cc Diamond Pistons 347 LS6
I am hoping that the compression ratio is 10:5 to 1 (don't ask me why I want so much compression for f/i that's my secret ) but using my bone stock LS6 heads and GM gaskets, what is the exact compression ration on a 347 cubic inch forged LS6 motor using -2cc Diamond Pistons.
Thank for your reply that answers this specific question!

I think you hit right on the nose, I come up with 10.5 CR as well.
Assuming you have a 3.905 bore, .055" gasket, pistons are .010" out of the hole like most diamonds are, -2cc reliefs and 64cc combution chambers = 10.5 CR .
If any of my guesses of your setup are wrong let me know and can adjust...

347 LS6 engine with slightly bigger bore of 3.905 for cleaning up, etc., before being rebuilt, etc.
