SPEED INC. @ drag week

UPDATE...............
The guys made it to WIR ok , its cold out here today (high 50's) so the track was a little rough. They still managed a 8.63 at 161 and are now on their way to Iowa.
So far so good they havent mentioned any major issues. Talk about a stout set-up.
(only issues so far have been dirty fuel filter, plug change and the usual ls1 little water pushing. Nothing that would slow them down much)
looks like Speed INC can built one hell of a street car!
there arent any custom engine parts or anything crazy in this set up so anything the car has can be ordered.

That's an absolutely amazing setup. As of now I can't even get my STS car to make it to Wal-Mart and back without having some kinda mechanical problem And it wouldn't run 8's unless I drove it off a cliff!
Great work. Definetly sets a new standard for "daily driven".

Thanks guys. WIR is VERY rough, but Dan was still able to drive it out. We just arrived at our hotel in Cedar Falls. The drive was long at 350 miles today but it was some very nice winding roads with great scenery and elevation changes.
It was pushing about 10 ounces of water every pass but I noticed the radiator cap was fitting rather loose. Tightened up the tabs and it hasn't moved any water since.
We've just been changing tires and switching fuel at the tracks. Havn't touched the plugs since we put them in the first day at Cordova.

8.6 to 8.7 at three different tracks, I'd be pretty darn chuffed if I did that, congrats guys! Jim are you wearing earplugs? I bet you have an ipod going, groovin' to some Moby.
