I dont know if anyone mentioned it - but as of yesterday (not counting today) we were 5th overall for Drag Week.

 

We just got to our hotel in LeClaire. First pass was an 8.68 @160 so we switched tires/fuel, loaded up the car and just watched the racing all day.

Tomorrow we'll likely turn it up a bit after the first run @20psi.

 

Amazing job guys. I wonder what my car could do with 20psi and traction, lol.

they are in 2nd place and about a tenth off.
to me if you do a event like this and just make the whole week then thats an achievment on its own and make it in a 8 sec car is just outstanding!!!

Final Results are in. The car that holds the 1st place spot in the class broke today before making a full pass, however they were able to get the parts to make a pass for today. We made another 8.6 pass and landed the very respectable 2nd place in our class.
