Thanks! I would of liked to meet you as well to put a face to a name, as you have been on here for a long time. Bob

Thanks, John! We saw 18 psi most of the time, a little more on that 9.12 run as it was a little cooler at that time.

They need to change the laws regarding paying for plates for the years when you have a car sitting around undriveable, looking like it is being parted out, as mine was whenever a customer needed a part... lol Bob

Yep, learned alot too about these LS animals. I still have all my Procharger stuff ready to go......I am just enjoying my h/c LS1 right now. Still working at optimizing it. When I switch to the Procharged LS2 I will be ready to get serious. I frequent the internal gen III and IV sections quite a bit, but keep finding myself coming over to Forced Induction forum. My heart knows where to go, but my mind won't let it happen just yet!

Thanks! We're going to try getting to a Southern track after we get the car back from Sema, before the year is out. Bob

Thanks Lee, it was good meeting you guy's as well. I do need a new BMR manual K member, mine got bent up pretty good on that last drop. Ted said it felt like he drove off a loading dock from 10 feet in the air. Apparently he has done that before... lol Bob

Aint that the truth! I am rolling with your old pedals. That car just a few months ago looked like a mess.

Yes it was a mess just a few months ago. It took a lot of work to get it to where it is now, and Brent, Jake, Tony and Jesse did a great job. Bob

The car is running better than we thought it would for not having much track time. We were hoping for a best of mid nine's as we didn't have any time to get the suspension dialed in. The rear is sitting a little high as these cars do with a 3.00 axle tube on the Moser rear, and stock rear coil springs. After Sema we're going to mini tub the rear of the car and put M/T drag radial dot 315 tires under it, which are 30.00" tall instead of the M/T 325 drag radial dot 325's that are 28.00 tall. They are the same tread width for both tire sizes. This will help out the rear gear, as we are going through the traps at 7200 rpm. The taller 315 will have more sidewall, which will help to prevent shocking the surface of the tire. The taller 315 will also put more tire on the track surface, as shown here. 325 o/O 315
With the mini tub kit we will narrow the rear-end, and we will be able to lower the rear of the car. Then we won't have to have the front of the car so high to keep a decent center of gravity. This will help the car to get even more traction, and we expect that excellent 1.29 sixty foot time to get even quicker.

We had to swap out torque converters at the track in Memphis, as we were driving though the borrowed converter that Ted Garvin let us use. Ted also let us borrow his Powerglide transmission. Before we headed to Memphis, the good people at Coan Transmissions thought that the converter from Ted's big block would not ba able to contain the power of our engine, and they suggested that we give BTE a call to see if they could take a converter along with them to Memphis for us. BTE had a booth set up at the LSX Shootout at Memphis. Sure enough, we needed to swap out converters, and the converter BTE supplied us worked great! Thanks to Coan and BTE, and to the guys at EPP for all the effort they put in! Bob
