Will do, Thanks. At one et does the car need to get the chassis certified, or are they going to care for an event like this? I'm not planning on us having the chassis dialed in to even worry about it, but just wondering. Bob

Cool, that's going to open the floodgates on the aftermarket for the hemi for sure. I wouldn't hold my breath for SCT though, they announced their LS1 programming in the mags for a year before they had it out. Bob

9.99 or 135 you need a cert and an NHRA license. It looks like the cage will certify fine, as long as all the floor plates are 6x6 and the tubing is right diameter. Getting a cert takes 15 minutes and 75 bucks, getting the license is a little tougher but still no big deal. Yes I would worry about tech at this one, NMCA guys are very serious on tech. Also make sure and do the window net, eveb if you are running 10.50 with a roll cage lot of tracks still want a net on it.

Wont have t do much chassis dialing, especially if you are using the bigger M/T radials, just make sure and do LCA relocation brackets and put some decent adjustable shocks on the front and it should be an easy 9 second car if you have a good torque converter.

Thanks Kevin, all the floor plates are indeed 6x6 and the tubing is correct. Will do on the window net, thanks!

We're going to be using the M/T 315 drag radials, couldn't get the 325's and the 315's should do just fine, they are tall though at 30.00". Bob

I have a worn out 315 60 here on a 7.5 BS draglite and no way it will fit without some bodywork. Maybe a camaro you can get them in but it aint happening on a TA. The 325/50s are a little smaller diameter then 28" ET drags but they wll take some some inner fender beating to fit, diameter is no problem though.

I have a brand new set of 325/50s here I'm not going to use if you cant get the 315s to work.

Well guys, the Kirkeys are in and mounted, along with seatbelts. Gauges are in progress and will be done as soon as the fuel level gauge gets back from autometer from being re-calibrated.

The Precision converter and Madman Dipstick came in today so it looks like the trans part is ready.

The rear end should be picked up tommrow, were all anxious to see this nice new bolt-in fabricated 9" , after seeing them at PRI i cant wait!

Right now she sits on jackstands for all of this attention, after the rear and the new BMR K member go in, then it should go on a lift for motor and transmission install!

We were temporarily going to be using a turbo 400 that has a tranny brake that we had sitting on a shelf in our shop, that has a tranny brake. We were told this tranny was supposed to be in good shape, so we took it over to Rodney at RPM Transmissions to have it looked over. This transmission was left with us by a customer approx three years ago, and I thought if Rodney could do a mild rebuild/inspection, then I'd use it for now. When we went back over to RPM Transmissions to pick it up, Rodney said it was really worn out. Rodney went completely through it and upgraded/replaced a lot of parts in it for us, and get this, he didn't charge me anything! I've sent a lot of work Rodney's way, and he's always been very generous to us in return!
I'll be taking pic's of the tranny and adding it to my website.
We're not sure yet what we are going to do for a tranny shield. Bob

Hi guys, can you weigh the fab 9 inch against the stock 10 bolt? It'd be great to see the diff in weight!

Chris

ps- Bob, The predator is going out to production now and shipping within the next week or so. There is also a shop version! Please buy it so I can bring my SRT8 down for a D1SC kit and your tuning!
