sounds like your misfiring since its in and out at random rpms... Id check your plugs and plug wires first...how many lbs are you running now? When you go WOT does it go to where it should be?

Once you fix the issue see if you notice a difference in boost created too cause what im thinking is you increased the boost by removing some exhaust and might have fucked a plug (thats how it started with my car). But i kept replacing plugs and soon as I hit boost it was start sputtering again after a couple seconds of WOT.

Just my suggestion from experience.

5lbs.
No it's barely building boost as you can see.
Only does this under WOT when trying to go from vacuum to boost. Did it once before then quit, now it did it again today. Don't know any details on teh tune either.

maybe a wire is loose or something making it go in and out of that condition... I dunno, it seems related to spark by my guess though.

I could be wrong though... but I think if your missing then you wont be able to make as much boost since its detonating.

Another possibility could be fuel related... maybe possibly clogged injector or fuel pump failure? Dont think its as likely but its somewhat related... Does your fuel pressure stay constant during the miss?

I was thinking fuel by how it was acting, but the only time i've checked fuel pressure it stayed pretty consistent under load.
42lb inj are in the car with a walbro 255

They seem to be ok, car is having a hard time at about 8-2psi vacuum roughly under load aka when it's swapping from vacuum to boost. What's happening mechanically during this process that I should look for, could it be an exhaust leak somewhere...or something deeper?
I'm new to the boost world, and I bought this car knowing it needed some work so i'm trying to learn, bear with me....
ps I have no way of reading whats going on with the computer. Is there any kind of free software out there you can plug up and simply read but not retune?
Perhaps demo's of EFI Live or something? Also what do the connecting wires run.....

if you have an obd2 to rs232 (serial) adapter (elm based) then you can download a whole bunch of free software for logging. Just look for one that supports GM enhanced features because it will give you access to a lot more parameters to monitor.

dont bother with building your own unless your familiar with electronics. google "obd2" or "elm controller" or both. youll find plenty of sites that sell them in a casing. they usually cost about $90-100 and then you can find some good software for pretty cheap. check here as well http://obd-2.com/

In theory would that work, I really don't have money to spend at the moment so i'm looking for the cheapest route. I figured just data reading software could be found free or even using the efi live demo but have no idea what to use to hook it up.
