Hey QuickSilver. I'm not going to get in on a debate with you. It is obviuos, you have know clue what your talking about.
It’s funny, I actually think that Supras are great cars and respect what they are capable of, but it’s the attitude of you import supremacist that drives me and everyone else here nuts.
Hey, I’ll admit that there are some great imports out there, why in the heck can’t you guys just admit that there are also some seriously bad *** domestics out there too.
Well, different strokes for different folks, but please don’t force your one sided views on us. I’m sure there are plenty of import boards where you can talk trash about the domestics and pretend you have the best car in the world.
I’m sorry this has digressed to this level. I’ll shut up from this point forward and try to keep this board focused on what it was originally setup for.

And what is really a joke, the two that are all over the Supra owner is, both owners have their engines out of the cars on their webpage. If my engine was sitting on an engine stand I would not talk about person's car that is up and running.

But thanks for taking some time to visit my web site. I liked the way the new front end looks on the ls1 so i took it. You dont see any supra parts on my car cause they suck. The one thing i find funny is how you mention us being all over supra owners. I dont see to many on this post. Just you posting up info on other supras.

I've driven 1100hp camaros, 600hp talons, 600 mr2's, and tuned 700hp supras. So what have you driven that can even compare to those.

It's people like you with your tunnel vision who really have "no clue". Perhaps you should learn how to spell and use proper grammar before you come on an LS1 specific board to school us all on the superiority imports.
Placing periods and commas outside the quotation marks is the British way of doing things.
(...if we're talking about learning, spelling, and proper grammar...where's that old thread about this? I have plenty that I wish to discuss. These boards are HORRIBLE when it comes to this!)

For one if you want to get technical with the mpg and efficiency, how much per liter does a z06 make compared to lets say a 1.8 liter integra typeR. 111 to what 74.5. So you would need to put put atleast another 200hp to even compete with the hp per liter equation.
Also can you tell me why Lingenfelter and Edlebrock have merged with major import companies? Is it becuase they see the potential in modifying 4 cyl? Doesn't there 4 cly run 8's? With over 800hp. 400 hp per liter. hmmmm. They don't seem to have any problems making it.
On another note, a 427cid turbocharged stroker put down only 745hp compared to some supras with the same 3.0 liter(stock displacement). How much is there twin turbo kit. 60,000 not including the car. PLEASE! Don't give me any BS on how its street legal and passes emmisions ****. I could build a supra 9 sec supra for a 1/10 of that.

I'm through going back and forth with you. Your logic is worthless! Any person who puts tires on there car knowing they won't fit( as you clearly stated) is a complete IDIOT. So don't get all high and mighty about what you've driven before. Because I garantee that many others on this board have driven better cars as well. That is a point I have trying to drive about small engine with high horsepower. It take alot of money to get any car to go fast, but the smaller motor crowd like the Supra requires more maintenance. The HP-per-Litre ratio is always the worst way to compare power to engines. A 200-hp 2.0L Honda motor is 100-hp/L and a LS1, 345-hp, 5.7L is 60hp/L, but why can I run low 13s/ upper 12s and the honda is lucky to break into the 14s. Also, if you want to compare a motor built for boost, look at Mopar's SRT-4 competiting in the Sport Compact NHRA. It has a 2.5L, T-88 turbo, and 2200lbs weigh-in that crank about 800-hp. Now, he has to change head gaskets and valve springs every few runs. He runs 40psi of boost with 11.5 compression. Now, to me that take a ton of money.
I tell you what. If anyone wants to give me some money to build a 7-second, streetable, pump-gas, stock suspension, full interior, air-to-air intercooler, and stock looking, let me know.
