Default MSBC-1 user help

The problem I'm having is if I set my controller where I should have 27psi it hits 27 and then drops down to 24 or so. If I try to bump up the controller it still comes down to around 24psi. Any idea's?

Is your controller referencing boost from the intake manifold?

The turbo's aren't maxed. They have done close to 40psi on the dyno. Temps out of the turbo are 190 and going into the engine they are 45. I think they are referenced from the compressor side of the turbo. Innovative said that my 10psi spring in the wastegates were probably to weak. I'm putting 15lbs springs in them, just wondering if anyone else had any idea's or have seen this issue. They are twin gt35r turbo's.

Rule of thumb is 2:1 on the gate springs. 10psi springs should be stable at 20psi with a controller....asking 27 is too much. I bet the 1bar springs will be fine.

What engine/numbers did you dyno twin GT35r's at 40psi?

This is a 6cylinder 3800 seriesII that the firebird comes with. It shot right through the convertor when it happened, it was an accident, didn't mean to run that much boost. @ 31psi it put down 813rwhp

Yes but I was making roughly the same power last year and my turbo was done at about 23psi, but it would spike to 26 at the shift.....and mine turbo also would also DYNO at 40psi.........but for sure check your waste gates and if you got access to a smoke machine to look for leaks on the hot side and the cold side.
