With the eflilive set up, i donate a free tune to get you in the ball park for you on your swap. I use it all the time for several of my personal blower vehicles, and hundreds of customer cars, and they drivability and dependability of a factory computer cant be beat. If you have questions you can call me directly and i can answer any of your questions. Thanks Jes

No he wants to see if I can run BS3 only so I won't have to piggyback the stock PCM for things like factory gauge operation. The fact that I'm doing a conversion probably complicates things.

Stock computer will do 1krwhp no problem.

BS3 -I just pulled one out of a Z28 with the complete harness. We will be selling it.

FYI- BS3 doesn't pass smog plug in test.

I need to make sure BS3 does what I want it to do first. Stock computer will require some add-ons I have realized since this thread started so I guess it's gonna come down to money. Also........ smog, what's that?

You will like BS3! It's a great investment for a turbo car, I feel it's the only way to go. Call LS1 Speed for pricing. 1-847-891-0767 or email Tom@ls1speed.com

Went to your website and it says you guys have a setup to retain factory gauges. I've seen you can and I've seen you can't. The ultimate question is can you retain factory gauges for an LS1 in a 1994? I guess I'm willing to drop the cash for Autometers but if I can retain factory gauges then great. What's your take on it?

Custom wiring harnesses can get expensive, like $400 to $800 for the harness.

You can also splice the BS3 into your stock gauges if you are handy like that.

No not really handy like that. If I had a wiring diagram I probably could though it'd be aggravating.

I'm running BS3, no factory pcm and harness, and aftermarket trans, oil, boost, engine temp gauges.

Those the only gauges you are running? I thought last night I could use Autometer in-dash tach and speedo. Then just run water temp and oil pressure. I already have trans temp, oil temp and had planned on boost, fuel pressure. I had wanted to run pyrometer but without the 8 cylinder setup, not sure how beneficial one probe at the turbo inlet would be. Also was wanting Autometer's wideband O2 gauge, but BS3 uses wideband O2's so not real sure how the relationship would play there.

I am running a BS3 with the stock PCM and all gauges and everyhting works perfect. What seems to be the deal?

Just order the BS3 I can explain what wiring needs to be piggy backed.

The deal is I have a factory LT1 car. I have NO LS1 PCM and NO LS1 harness. I have a motor and that's it. My goal was to run my LT1 gauges with as little work as possible. If it came down to it, I will just eliminate the cluster and put some Autometers in.

OK I found a pinout for the LT1 cluster. Tapping into BS3 wiring does not pose problems like difference in signal type between LT1 and LS1?

OK I've been informed that speed and tach signals have to be translated by the PCM.
